Emmeline Lombard, P.A.-C.
Emmeline (Emmy) Lombard grew up in Conyers, Georgia and is a proud Atlanta native. She attended Rockdale High School, where she was a competitive swimmer and member of the band. She went on to attend Piedmont University in the North Georgia mountains, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with summa cum laude honors. While there, she published research investigating predator avoidance strategies in Appalachian salamanders.
She also cared for patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in home health and acute rehab settings, where she became passionate about quality patient care. She developed a deep commitment to public service, and spearheaded a clothing drive for a local organization assisting domestic violence victims. After completing her undergraduate degree, she returned home to Atlanta, where she earned a Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South College.
Emmy is a board certified physician assistant licensed by the Georgia Composite Medical Board. In 2025, she joined Dr. Plas James and his team at the Atlanta Spine Institute. She brings a wealth of knowledge in both general orthopedic and spine care. Emmy works closely with Dr. James in delivering exceptional patient care and upholding his commitment to excellence.
Outside of work, Emmy can be found enjoying a good book with her cat, Sirius Black, or exploring the great outdoors with her Australian Shepherd, Honey.
